Local Subdivision Update (December 2010)

Your local subdivision update

Waikato District: Submissions to Subdivision Rules have now closed.  Last chance to gain subdivision approval under the old rules. If you have less than 6ha to subdivide you should act right away.

Waipa District: Draft District Plan is out for submissions.  Most of the Rural Subdivision allowable now will go with this review of rules. Big changes proposed so you need to be informed and take action.

Hauraki District: Submissions have closed on the Proposed District Plan.  Future minimum lot size means you will need 80ha to subdivide on plains. Subdivisions can still be approved under the old rules so don’t delay.

Western Bay District: Appeals are currently being heard by the Environment Court.  Minimum areas for horticulture blocks may fall.
